The original drawing is slowly submerged by the application of material with knife. The apparent destruction of one art leaving space for the elaboration of another much more constructed and tonic.

Her particular range is an hymn to colours and textures flirting softly with abstraction leaving place to sensualisation more than the visual. Chantal loves expressing the purity of her vision of nature by removing all excesses from the objects themselves. Her scenes that seems so familiar are removed fro all substance and reality.
